SALARY: £66,861 - £74,290

LOCATION(S): Leeds

HOURS: Full-time

WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites

As a Software Engineer within the General Insurance (GI) platform, you'll be responsible for leading and motivating a multi-disciplinary team of Software Engineers, taking accountability for all delivery and operational activities. You'll be passionate about technology, both current and future trends, and will look for opportunities to bring these into the Lab, whilst being a role model for your team and colleagues around you.

What you'll need

Proven experience in Senior Engineering delivery roles

Have evolving knowledge of, and curiosity about engineering principles, practices, and technologies.

Solid background in technologies with C#.Net

Experience with low code platforms or with XML based markup languages such as XAML or HTML

Experience in CI and CD would also be an advantage (support and training in this can be provided)

Expertise in delivering and supporting high-availability, high-performance systems.

Have effective collaboration and communication skills, able to work and influence across functional boundaries.

A passion for coaching, developing & motivating colleagues.
