Senior DevOps Engineer - Fully Remote - £75,000

We're looking for a number of experienced, self-motivated Senior DevOps Engineers to join an established Software Development Partner with a global presence. With over 40 decades of experience, you will have the opportunity to work with some of the best Microsoft MVPs in addition to having unlimited options and routes of progression.

The business promotes a collaborative culture and puts their employees at the forefront of everything they do, from Mental-health workshops, to annual company-wide trips.

Role & Responsibilities

• Implementing consistent and responsive deployment processes
• Ensuring deployments are regularly reviewed and optimised
• Developing and implementing automated applications and infrastructure (provisioning, configuring, and deployment processes)
• Managing application performance and service quality
• Promoting DevOps principles and culture across the business
• Communicating with and advising internal and external stakeholders
• Ensuring that up-time for the company's production environment is about 99%
• Ensuring that future requirements to move new versions into production across the business's Azure environment reduces significantly year on year

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience and proficiency with Azure Cloud
• Certifications within Azure highly desirable
• Strong experience with Web Hosting (specifically with .NET MVC, .NET Core Mapping, Routing et)
• Proficiency with Azure Security
• Networking (Gateways, Routing, Load Balancing etc)
• Disaster Recovery
• VPN's, Remote Access, RDP
• Optimal Configuration of servers
• Excellent understanding with commercial aspects surrounding Azure
• Confidence with mentoring and coaching junior members of staff
• Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
• Excellent decision making skills
