About the role
- Analyse client's existing applications and infrastructure, design target state architecture using cloud patterns and best practices
- Propose and build repeatable patterns to accelerate and move hundreds of applications or greenfield implementations
- Be the technology SME for the modernization/migration of applications/platforms in the customer ecosystem
- Ability to drive across the application life cycle by adopting modern engineering practices including DevSecOps , Automation testing, Application security and tools
- Responsible for the evaluation of technical risks and map out mitigation and placement strategies
- Responsible for advising on cloud architecture solutions to effectively meet the strategic needs of the business
- Work closely with sales team to guide and evangelize patterns to help in navigating the customer ecosystem to build farming strategies
- Be the anchor to the practice teams to bring the industry best practices and enhance our offerings and solution eco systems
- Support the delivery teams with guided approaches, skill development and bridging the customer gaps
- Be up-to-date on current and new CSP products and services with certifications and understand how to apply them to business needs
- Over 15 years work experience in Applications design and development with Architecting solutions for both greenfield/brownfield with over 5 years of experience working with Public Cloud providers
- Strong experience in large transformation of applications for customers using cloud technology with Cloud native, DevSecOps , Containers and modern data ecosystem
- Over 5 years of experience in application migration and modernization of .NET, JAVA, databases and legacy to any public/private cloud with using both PasS or IaaS based implementation
- Demonstrated experience on multiple toolsets and adaptability to learn new tools and processes
- Good experience on Continuous integration and deployment with source code repos and configuration management technologies and best practices
- Experience with performing discovery and assessment of customers' overall application portfolio, IT and business priorities and customer insights to create a modernization roadmap
- Ability to work in a cross-functional team, as well as with various stakeholders
- Good written and verbal communication skills to effectively articulate complex cloud concepts
