WHAT TO EXPECT This is an excellent opportunity for Software Architect to join the organisation at an extremely exciting and pivotal time for the organisation at our Software Development Centre of Excellence in Shannon. You will be responsible for ideating, designing and developing software solutions to address complex problems. You will be able to provide technical leadership and mentorship to the development team, while taking the lead in code and pipeline reviews. The Software Architect will have design authority in a highly collaborative environment and actively engage in the development process, proactively acting as a bridge between Software Requirements and Implementation. Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities Take part in architectural reviews and understand and plan for evolutionary paths. Partake in risk identification and risk mitigation strategies associated with the architecture. Oversee architectural approaches from conception to installation. Conceptualize software solutions for Jaguar Land Rover ECUs and innovative vehicle topologies. Choose the technologies for the implementation of each component and connections between the components. What You'll Need Proven hands-on experience on embedded systems, C and/or C++ programming and debugging. Good understanding of Hardware - Software interactions. Understanding of software requirements derivation and allocation to the Software Architecture. Requirements management tools DOORS/DOORS-NG. Understanding of system requirements analysis and elicitation. UML and SySML hands-on experience, clear understanding of modelling.
