Global Business Manager - Global 100 Leadership Development Program (for Account Executives)Launched in 2015, our Global 100 Leadership Development Program enables recent MBA graduates to evolve into Sales and P&L leaders at Wipro. Over a duration of 15 months, the program offers multi-industry, multi-function perspectives and hands-on immersive experiences through exposure across our key business units. Program participants are hired as Account Executives, a strategic role with P&L ownership and end-to-end responsibility for overall business growth, stakeholder management and delivery and deal solutioning oversight.
What we offer
Rotational assignments within an industry sector in Sales, Solutioning, Consulting and Delivery. These rotational assignments last for three and five months in home country and international locations.
On-the-job learning, complemented by an immersive 1-week orientation at Wipro's regional offices, covering business fundamentals as well as interpersonal and leadership skills.
At the end of the program, based on business interests, career goals and performance, each Global Business Manager is deployed to an Account Executive role.
What you'll do
As a Global Business Manager, client engagement is a key focus. You will:
- Cultivate long-term partnerships that benefit both the organization and our clients - improve customer satisfaction, win new orders, realize revenue targets and improve profitability
- Resolve complex client challenges through technology led solutions, leveraging Wipro's service offering portfolio. Identify, structure, and shape opportunities and engagements.
- Support global delivery and strategic internal initiatives
- Produce industry leading business research, position papers and white papers
- Collaborate and network with global teams, partners for positive business outcomes
We are seeking diverse candidates interested in pursuing a career in Business Development, Sales and P&L leadership roles. Candidates with astute influencing ability, leadership skills and an open mind to new challenges. We value the ability to navigate ambiguity and to influence decisions. Engaging communication skills, curiosity, being a self-starter, and possessing high levels of resilience are considered an asset.
MBA degree with a completion date of December 2023 or May/June 2024
Minimum 3-7 years of previous work experience. IT services experience, consulting and sales experience is desired.
Demonstrated sales, leadership, analytics, and problem-solving skills
Ability to navigate ambiguity and to demonstrate high levels of resilience and flexibility
Aptitude to work in a variety of functions and environments, with strategic and global mindset
Engaging communication skills and ability to influence decisions
Possess a high learning orientation and be self-led
Eligibility to work on a permanent basis in the country of hire without sponsorship
