The Oracle NetSuite SuiteCommerce Developer creates, enhances, and maintains the Franchise-facing eCommerce website, primarily in SuiteCommerce. This position may be asked to conduct research, gather information, interpret data, and recommend solutions. Key Responsibilities The Oracle NetSuite SuiteCommerce developer will play a crucial role in creating a powerful and functional e-commerce solution that integrates seamlessly with the broader NetSuite ecosystem. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions using SuiteCommerce capabilities. Redesign the architecture and layout of the e-commerce website or application. Deploy changes and updates to the production environment while minimizing disruptions to the live e-commerce site. Customize the SuiteCommerce platform to meet the specific needs of the business. Create custom templates, themes, modules, and extensions to enhance the user experience and add new features. Work closely with other developers, designers, project managers, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment with business goals and project timelines. Develop responsive and visually appealing front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Ensure cross-browser compatibility and a consistent user experience across different devices. Implement back-end functionalities using SuiteScript, a JavaScript-based scripting language tailored for NetSuite. Create custom business logic, workflows, and integrations with other NetSuite modules. Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve any issues that arise in the SuiteCommerce platform. Investigate and resolve technical problems and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in one of the following areas - computer science, software development, software engineering, information systems or mathematics required. NetSuite SuiteCommerce certificate approved. Experience: Minimum 2 years experience in Oracle NetSuite/SuiteCommerce customization Job Specific Skills Required: strong understanding of NetSuite SuiteCommerce platform; experience with setup, configuration and customization of SuitePromotions; strong communications skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams; ability to work independently and part of a team; eCommerce experience

Preferred: strong NetSuite Configuration, Data Object Management and Data Integrity skills; Experience with other eCommerce platforms such as Wordpress, Magento, Big Commerce

Employment information This position reports to Director of New Platform Development. This role reports in office 5 days/week.
