Financial Data & Analytics Manager - Manchester - £55,000

A Manchester based hospital business are looking for a Data & Analytics Manager to join their finance team. This is an exciting time to join this successful business as they look to modernise their financial reporting. They are looking to incorporate comprehensive Power BI reports into the business to deliver tangible insights to the business.

They are looking for someone to take the lead on this project and guide the business through this change. You will work very closely with different departments across the business to understand their needs and help provide reports around costs, sales, profitability and other internal KPIs. You will have the passion for taking data and turning it into something meaningful.

You will join a close-knit business and will be leading a small team to revolutionise reporting across the organisation. The company have created an extremely strong company culture where they are looking for passionate and honest individuals who are looking to be a part of an exciting new project.

As part of this role, you will be responsible for some of the following areas.

  • Work collaboratively with different business departments to understand reporting requirements and deliver insightful reports.
  • Lead a small team, ensuring they are offered coaching and development to reach their potential.
  • Work to develop commercial analytics reports utilising internal financial data.
  • Work to highlight insights and area of improvement to reduce costs and add value to the business.

This is a salaried role paying up to £55,000 per year depending on experience. This is a hybrid opportunity where you will work in Manchester at least 3 times per week. There is also a company benefits package which includes -

To be successful in this role you will have.

  • An understanding for data and passion to turn data into something meaningful.
  • Financial background
  • Management or leadership experience would be beneficial.
  • Excellent communication skills
