Financial Data & Analytics Manager - Power BI

A well-established family-run business are looking for a finance professional with Power BI reporting experience to join their team as a Financial Data & Analytics Manager. They're based in Middleton in Greater Manchester, and are looking for someone to come into their office at least 3 days per week.

It's an incredibly exciting time to join the business as they're at the start of their data analytics journey, and are looking to modernise the way they do financial reporting by introducing interactive Power BI reports to provide the business with actionable insight for better decision-making!

This is a strategic role, where you'll work with stakeholders across the business to understand their reporting needs, and provide them with insightful Power BI reports with the support of your team. You'll be responsible for line managing 2 Analysts, although prior management experience is not an essential and you'll be provided with plenty of coaching for this aspect of the role.

Ideally we are looking for someone from a Finance background and some experience with Power BI. Any experience with Microsoft NAV and Jet Analytics would also be beneficial but is by no means essential.

Requirements:

• A background in finance
• Experience working with Power BI
• Any experience with NAV or Jet Analytics would be helpful but not essential
• Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical people
