Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a team of talented Java developers, providing technical guidance, support, and fostering a collaborative environment.Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and efficient Java-based applications and systems.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and architect robust solutions.Drive the development process, ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and project timelines.Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements, proposing and implementing innovative ideas to improve software development processes and tools.Conduct code reviews, perform debugging and troubleshooting activities to ensure the delivery of reliable and secure applications. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. A higher degree is a plus.Extensive professional experience as a Java developer, demonstrating expertise in Java EE, Spring Framework, and other relevant technologies.Proven track record of successfully leading and managing teams, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.Solid understanding of software development methodologies, design patterns, and best practices.Experience with agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically.Previous experience in the financial industry or FinTech sector is highly desirable.
