Our new Data Engineer will help our platform deliver business value through fully rounded engineering methods and technologies, ensuring platforms and software are built consistently with relevant patterns and practices. They will be able to continually develop themselves with industry standard methodology and tooling used across their engineering teams. They will also help us strive towards a new data-centric strategy and take existing and new applications forward into the future data models. About the Role As a data focused Software Engineer in the Finance Data team, you will be working with various stakeholders in the development of a new Finance data model, predominantly working with Business/Data Analysts who will be defining both data mapping and downstream consumption and integration requirements. About YouUnderstanding of Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) processesUnderstanding of the end-to-end system development lifecycleUnderstanding of Enterprise Data Model concepts (e.g. BIAN)Understanding of Domain level Data Models (preferably Finance) and Reference Data application/mappingsOracle Data Integration Hub (DIH) foundations experienceOracle Financial Services Data Fabric (FSDF) mapping/config experienceErWin data model tool experienceUnderstanding of Data Model integration with upstream/downstream toolingGoogle Cloud Platform (GCP) experience with core componentsOracle Database platform experienceUnderstanding of deployment/data pipelines and code management integrationUnderstanding of DevOps and Automation principles Together we'll make it possible...
