Linux engineer - 90% WFH ( sites either Manchester, London or Warwick )

Required skills: Operating system administration, including: OS tunable and configuration settings Host based storage configuration Host based network configuration Backup and deployment of system images Shutdown, and re-start of hosts Operating system architecture and virtualisation platform, including: Hypervisor administration External storage mapping to VM External network (VLAN/Subnet) mapping to VM Data Flow configuration in terms of OS settings (routes, connections, file configurations etc.) Tooling configuration within the Operating system (not the roll out)

Security clearance: United Kingdom - Minimum 5 years UK residency required

This role is to work as part of our migration team, owning and delivering key technical tasks to migrate Linux servers as part of application migrations.

Location - Majority of work will be done remotely, but travel to London and Manchester will be required and other locations in UK maybe required dependent on client and project requirements. Base location for contract will be agreed at point of offer.
