Excellent opportunity for a CAD Design Engineer to join a global market leader, in a technically interesting role where you'll be able to manage design projects through from concept to manufacturing.

On offer is the chance to apply your SolidWorks knowledge in a technically interesting l role, where you'll be able to autonomously see projects through from concept to completion working for an expanding global technology company, who are in a phase of expansion.

This International Infrastructure business are currently in a phase of rapid expansion due to high profitability as well as strategic growth both organic and through acquisition. They are a market leader in their field, setting the standard by employee satisfaction, excellent customer service and providing a product that is unrivalled by their competition. Due to an increase of work with new and exciting contracts won, they are seeking an additional Designer to help bring their innovative concepts to life.

In this role, you'll be working on projects from concept briefs through to completion. You'll be designing mechanical and electrical rail signalling products. Dealing with initial design, project management, Bills of Material and datasheets. You'll get involved with the mechanical product design, design of electrical wiring diagrams as well as site layout designs. You'll receive on-the-job training in their niche industry from experts in the field to equip you with the knowledge needed.

THE ROLE:

*Design of interesting railway products

*Using SolidWorks

*Industry training

*Seeing projects through from concept to completion

*Hybrid Working

THE PERSON:

*Previous experience in a Design Engineering role

*Any Industrial Manufacturing sector considered

*Engineering Qualification preferred

*Mechanical Design experience

*Some Electrical wiring knowledge/experience preferred

*Proficient with SolidWorks
