We are rapidly expanding our global customer base and are looking for someone who will fit into our agile team culture.About the Role:We're constantly improving the performance of our IRmadillo spectrometer and improving our manufacturing processes. We practise agile management methods and apply lean 6-sigma techniques to manufacturing and product design.You'll be working across all aspects of the business within a multidisciplinary team, including our in-house manufacturing facility. You will also be working directly with our international customers to support the product.This position is based at our Headquarters on the Harwell Campus, Oxfordshire, England. Some international travel will be required for customer visits and conferences.Examples of the type of teamwork would include a selection of the following, (based on your talents & skills):+ Designing and improving the product
+ Coordinating the delivery of successful customer projects
+ Developing and improving manufacturing processes
+ Testing hardware and software, both for manufacturing and development
+ Helping customers use the product
+ Developing your skills and knowledge to always get betterAbout you:+ Have a Degree or Equivalent in Engineering, Physics, or a related STEM field
+ Understand what makes good customer service
+ Good at picking up the phone and talking to actual humans to get an issue sorted out in real time, rather than hiding behind emails/texts.
+ Happy to work outside your comfort zone and take on new things: new ways of working, new technical challenges.
+ Practically minded. Perhaps a tinkerer at home, or just like the challenge of sorting out a problem.
+ Like to make things happen and get stuff done.
+ Like to play on a team, rather than be the lone wolf. this is a big deal... we do all our work collaboratively, you don't get assigned an individual project.
