A leading financial services organisation is currently searching for Business Analyst / Tester with experience in HR Transformation on a 12 month contract basis.

The day rate will be £590 Umbrella per day, with their working policy being hybrid, 2 - 3 days out of their city of London offices.

Responsibilities and job overview for the role are;

Section 2 - Purpose of Job

Provide business analysis skills to the realisation phase of the Time and Absence workstream within the HR Services Transformation Programme under the SAP SuccessFactors Project. The workstream where the Business Analyst is required is to support the build, test, defect resolution and UAT processes with final transition to QA and production system for Positive and Negative Time off across the EMEA region.

Section 3 - Background

The EMEA HR Services Transformation programme is a multi-million-pound EMEA wide programme across 19 countries and over 3,000 people that will transform the services offered by HR to become a more dynamic, efficient, and effective with greater data and insights to enable greater strategic and consultive services to the business.The programme includes several technology implementations such SAP Employee Central, SAP SuccessFactors Upgrade, Service Now, Ingentis, Qualities to support the goals of the programme and the development of new Target Operating Models (TOM) and Service Delivery Models (SDM)The HR Department is responsible for the delivery of services that require query handling and transactions to be carried out these include payroll, benefits, pensions, immigration, international mobility, HR analytics, remuneration, learning & development, talent management, succession planning and recruitment. These transactions are often supported by systems including Oracle HR and SuccessFactors as well as spreadsheets and email.

Section 5 - Accountabilities & Responsibilities

1) Develop a deep understanding of the Time off and Time tracking workbooks by reviewing the design parameters for each country location and associated rules2) Weaving together the understanding of the requirements and your literacy of the Time Management modules within SuccessFactors to create robust and detailed test scripts ensuring test scripts contain;-Boundary conditions-Business rules incorporated in test cases-Required validations incorporated in component test cases-Provide clarifications on requirements allocated to the component-Business process flows are incorporated in the test plan-Non-functional requirements are incorporated in the test plan-Provide clarifications on system requirements3) Executing Unit testing for the following Time and Attendance design requirements and ensuring the configuration is as per the workbooks, raising defects and following defects through to re-test and resolution; Universal Time ObjectsTime Types for each country in scopeTime AccountsTime Account TypeHoliday CalendarWork SchedulesAccrual rulesPeriod Ned processing rulesLOA rules Executing Unit testing for the following Time Sheet design requirements and ensuring configuration is as per workbooks, raising defects and following defect through to re-test and resolution;Time Type Group: ensuring Time Type contains all the Time Types that should be taken into account during time validation.Time Recording Profile: Corroborating the Time Recording Profile is listed for all employees that should have access to the time sheet.Time Recording Admissibility Ensuring the retrospective duration look back for employees permits amendments to time sheets that have already been submitted.Time Valuations: Time Valuations calculation is working and time transfers the results, in the form of hours, for payroll. Time Account deductions are taken into account.Employee Time Valuation Result (ETVR): Employee Time Valuation Result (ETVR) calculation/evaluation is based on the sums of all Time Pay Types. This value is sent to payroll for processing.Co-ordinating and planning User acceptance testing by actioning the following key tasks, giving confidence to end users that the system can be rolled out into production;-Support Testing team to create acceptance test plans-Identify users for acceptance testing-Review acceptance test plan with key stakeholders-Support users during acceptance testing-Provide clarifications on system requirements-Obtain sign-off on system acceptance

Section 6 - Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Qualifications

Educated to degree level (desirable)Excellent verbal and written communication skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into functional and non-functional requirementsGood experience in writing business requirements specifications, data flows and data modelsExperience in HR processes including Payroll plus Time and Attendance (essential).Able to successfully manage multiple tasks at any given point, strong relationship building skills & communication skills (both written and verbal)Experience of participating in deadline driven and/or systems project teams.Proven ability to work collaboratively to gain agreement and resolve conflictMust be able to take own initiative but also willing to support and take direction when working with a Project or Programme ManagerResilient to work under pressure in order to meet deadlines.Must be able to demonstrate flexibility to move between "big picture" thinking and handling detailed tactical information.Able to work collaboratively in teams, ask good questions to rapidly understand complex systems and processes, analyse data and make recommendations based on evidence from the data.Change Agent - Experience of working with teams to foster best practise and encourage new ways of working.Strong customer services focusNumerate, logical, organised, flexible and creative approach to problem solvingNatural intellectual curiosity and a good understanding of our businessTechnical Writing - Experience of being a conduit between technical consultants and non - technical colleagues to translate requirements and solutionsAble to produce gap analysis/requirements, workflows and high-quality business requirement documents covering current and future state proposals.
