Job Description & SummaryThe New Equation is XXX's global strategy to address the breadth and complexity of challenges facing businesses and society. We're working to build trust, deliver sustained outcomes and help clients solve their most important problems by combining human ingenuity and understanding with the Right Technology for Real Results. From investing in skills and new capabilities and technology to empower our people, to bringing together people from different backgrounds, with diverse experiences and viewpoints, we're committed to investing alongside our clients to deliver results that make the difference. Our business takes XXX's entire capability to market to achieve the above and as part of that we have established a rapidly growing Enterprise Strategy and Cloud Transformation (ESCT) practice which migrates, modernises and develops new innovative solutions for our customers. We are recognised as leaders in cloud professional services and have Alliance relationships with the world's leading cloud platform providers - including AWS, Microsoft, Google, Oracle and SAP.As part of the next phase of our strategy our goal is to build on our success in winning and delivering transformational cloud projects and rapidly grow a cloud execution managed services (EMS) business. As part of this process, we will need to establish a series of offerings (comprising of accelerators, digital assets, IP and know how) which will help us to accelerate and scale this business. We will combine this with near shored and offshored delivery capability further supported by process optimisation and automation/AL/ML technologies to build a mature service business. Further to this we will build on the trust and industry insight that we have gained from our broader business and leverage our hyper-scale and broader technology alliances to build industry specific cloud solutions. In the current market, seven out of ten cloud projects fail to deliver on the business outcomes that customers are 'promised. By closing the execution gap between strategy, cloud transformation projects and the subsequent run and continued innovation services, XXX plans to address this for its customers. You will be joining our ESCT practice to work on the biggest and most challenging transformations powered by leading cloud applications, cloud platforms and cloud infrastructure - ensuring Right Cloud for Real Results. You will work alongside our cloud strategists, offering managers and multi-cloud sales specialist teams, developing highly compelling enterprise customer cloud solutions which enable the migration, modernisation and innovative development of workloads, applications, and services to and through the cloud. These offerings will be combined with broader cloud and other capabilities from across XXX and with partners to deliver solutions to customers complex business needs to help deliver business outcomes. The purpose of the multi-cloud pre-sales architect is to develop enterprise customer targeted single, preferred or multi-cloud solutions, which ensure the right choice of target cloud platform and the appropriate migration, modernisation or new capability development for that workload or application together with the appropriate run service and continued cloud based innovation. They will be responsible for developing solutions which are uniquely delivered by XXX, it's IP, know how, experience, insight and partners. They will work closely with Sales Specialists, Cloud Strategists, Offering Managers, delivery teams and sector specialist teams. Solutions must directly lead to the business outcomes sought by the customer which may include cost savings, increased agility, increased productivity or re-imagining of the customers business process through working with industry/sector specialists. The role requires understanding of customer challenges, technology trends and competitive offerings. The pre-sales architect must make maximum use of standardised offerings wherever possible to ensure solutions are both 'compelling' and 'deliverable'.
