Our client is an International IT Service Provider who requires a Project Manager with good understanding of Sarbanes Oxley s404 (SOX) & India Companies Act (ICA).

Job Title:
Sarbanes Oxley s404 (SOX) & India Companies Act (ICA) Project Manager
Key activities
- Governance and reporting Colleague Services in-scope applications and SOX controls
- Risk management:
o Identify and assess risks within Colleague Services that could adversely impact assurance and compliance
o Produce mitigation plan working with risk owner on treatment.
- Financial Control governance for Colleague Services:
o Support control operators to ensure controls are operated effectively as per control instruction (Risk and Control Matrix(RACM)) and all necessary evidence is collated ready for auditing.
o Provide assurance for controls owned within Colleague Services to ensure design, operation and evidence collation meets requirements.
o Ensure any changes in control operation are managed; design changes agreed with First Line of Defence (1lod), changes are tested to ensure effectiveness.
o Represent Colleague Services on 1lod compliance calls
o Ensure communications, information is shared with Colleague Services application leads, control operators e.g. through calls, teams site, onenote.
o Report weekly on current SOX status for Colleague Services
- Drive automation, identify potential manual elements of key controls to automate, working with automation team and 1lod to drive controlled implementation.
- Support SOX testing:
o Ensure readiness for testing, coordinate and facilitate appropriate resource and knowledge to assist evidence provision and other testing requirements.
o If control failures are identified, drive creation and completion of the Impact Assessment (from RCA to understanding the impact of the failed control, the improvements needed to resolve and prevent future failures).
