Embedded Software Engineer

Excellent opportunity for an Embedded Software Engineer to join a London-based startup that offers flexible hybrid working, progression in the future and a great working culture.

The company takes pride in moderating the impact of the livestock industry on the environment with a mission to make the beef and dairy industry more sustainable.

In this role you will join the hardware development team and work together in the development of the wearable device software the start up has patented. Performing a key role in designing and creating high quality firmware for their embedded systems operating in MCU and MPU, with unit tests, automated build and version management.

The ideal candidate will have 4 + year's experience in software development for embedded systems in C/C++, have experience working with integration of lower power radios and experience with electronic communications standards.

The Role:

Task organizing, arranging, proactive monitoring and compliance with planned delivery dates.Feature analysis, design, implementation and maintenance for device firmware and companion applications.Incorporation and maintenance of Software libraries established by external parties.Forming unit tests for the device firmware as it develops

The Person:

4+ year's experience in software development for embedded systems in C/ C++ Familiarity with integration of lower power radios; BTLE, LoRa, Zigbee etcKnowledge with electronic communication standards; RS232, I2C, SPI, USB, etc.Experience with product testing harness and documentation Reference number: BBBH187642
