The banks expertise and services span across Business Services, Corporate banking, Wealth Management, Group Functions, Retail and Investment Banking.On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a Finance Analyst for a 6 Month contract based Remotely.Purpose of the Role:Opportunity to join a financial modelling and analytics team that build historic customer level profitability datasets of retail and wealth customers for a wide variety of stakeholders within the bank. Finance analyst to assist in the specification, testing, and validation of developments to these financial models.They will work with stakeholders, existing finance SME and data engineers to formulate the requirements of model developments and then ensure they are implemented with robust testing and control. There tight deadlines for their developments so a project delivery focused mindset will be essential. As a Finance Analyst you will be responsible for:Helping to deliver a new customer value solution - formulating the spec for data engineerUndertaking ad hoc pieces of customer analysisEnsuring that all project deliverables satisfy the requirements and that they adhere to the agreed Governance Framework.Building and maintaining a positive working relationship with Stakeholders across multiple franchises, Domains and functions and at different levels of hierarchy, including respective Technology or Business Project Managers.What we require from the candidate:Experience in Profitability Modelling and its features e.g. cost allocation, cost of capital, banking product income structures, ideally in retail banking Experience in AWS Athena, Snowflake or TableauExperience in SQL (Essential)Experience in Python (Non-essential but advantageous)This client will only accept workers operating via an Umbrella or PAYE engagement model.If you are interested in applying for this position and meet the criteria outlined above, please click the link to apply and we will contact you with an update in due course.AMS, a Recruitment Process Outsourcing Company, may in the delivery of some of its services be deemed to operate as an Employment Agency or an Employment Business
