Software Developer / Full Stack Engineer (TypeScript Node.js) *Hybrid WFH / London* to £70k

Your Role:

As a Software Developer, you will work alongside a team of software engineers and analysts using modern technologies to solve business critical problems, making your impact on educational services worldwide. You'll help to maintain a suite of web applications (TypeScript, React), business systems, and infrastructure (AWS, Kubernetes) including website backends, customer acquisition funnels, marketing technology, and sales technology. The team are passionate about providing exceptional education to students and support several causes and cutting-edge research projects that improve the way people learn.

The company have created a hugely successful digital learning platform that is used by over 50,000 freelance teachers and students worldwide, enabling them to arrange lessons quickly and efficiently, pay for courses, and video stream lessons to students internationally. The team have also implemented AI and Machine Learning technologies to understand how each individual student learns and create tailor made learning plans.

Office / WFH:

Based in London, you will be joining a technology driven company within a friendly and supportive team. You will be able to work remotely 2 -3 days a week in this Software Developer role.

Requirements:

You are a bright Software Developer who has commercial experience in development roles

You have experience building applications using TypeScript, with a backend focus

You have experience using Node.js

You have AWS / Serverless experience

You have experience maintaining CI/CD pipelines / Docker

You have excellent communication and collaboration skills
