This is an opportunity for a Principal Analog IC Design Engineer to join a global company working on products to serve markets including, computing, automotive, communications, aerospace and consumer. Based in their site in Cambridge, you will be working within the Analog IP development group and will be responsible for design, simulation and evaluation of core Analog IP. Responsibilities include:Leading Analog IC design and simulation of various Analog blocksDevelopment of Analog circuit blocks based on design requirement specificationsDefining layout floorplans and working closely guiding layout designersIC bench evaluation and validationSupporting technical issues, design documentation and other design aspectsCollaborating with other teams to successfully bring up new productsWork with system and digital teamsIndustry degree qualified the successful Principal Analog IC Design Engineer will have 8+ years of design experience Hands-on Design experience with Analog modules such as Crystal Oscillator, Low Power High Speed Operational Amplifiers (Op-Amps). Working knowledge on ADC, DAC, Amplifiers is ideal. Experience is required in some or all of the following:
Deep sub-micron process with focus on Micro-controller Peripheral Architectures, Designs for Ultra Low Power High Speed Analog Mixed SignalsSolid fundamentals of transistor level Analog integrated circuits and device physicsKnowledge of EDA design tools and Cadence design environmentSelf-motivated and take full responsibility for solutionsHave in-depth knowledge on Microcontroller Architecture and SoC verification skills preferredStrong Communication and team work skills are required for the role as well as the ability to successfully collaborate in a Global Design Team is essential To apply for this exciting position please contact Leon to find out more.
