***BRAND NEW ROLE, BRAND NEW TEAM, BRAND NEW COMPANY COMING TO PORTUGAL FOR THE FIRST TIME!!!*** Exciting opportunity for a Senior Digital IC Design Engineer, to work in the beautiful setting of Portugal - in either Porto or Lisbon. Our client is one of the world’s fastest-growing Semiconductor companies, with HQ in the US and a 20-year background delivering high-performance solutions and ICs to a whole range of market areas including cloud computing, consumer, and automotive for some amazing companies & global brands! They are a billion dollar turnover company with enormous growth and development plans - so business is thriving for them! They are now seeking multiple Senior Digital Design Engineers to help build a brand new team in their new design centre. Within the role you will be responsible for the end-to-end design, architecture definition and development of digital and mixed-signal ICs utilizing leading edge technologies with industry standard ASIC tools. Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's Degree in relevant field, with 5+ years' work experience in ASIC digital design/development processes.Excellent RTL Verilog or System Verilog coding skills.Knowledge of standard Digital Verification languages (System Verilog, UVM) and metrics.Very good understanding of the backend flow: Synthesis, P&R, DFT, Power, LEC and STA.Excellent communication skills / fluent English.
Knowledge/Experience with the following is a plus:
Automotive standardsAnalog / mixed-signal IP or chipsEmbedded designs and/or firmware developmentKnowledge of power management industry/applicationsAnalog/mixed-signal block designI2C, I3C, SPI, USB, PMBUSFPGA design and validationARM designsScripting and automation languages like TCL, Python and C/C++The role is of course open to locals, and those who want to move to, or return to this beautiful country.
