Have you ever thought about growing your career with an organisation that operates on a global scale to deliver a first-class service for the UK government and our international partners? A career where you'll join our Digital, Data and Technology team and work at the heart of decision making as you help to develop our long term financial ambitions. A career where you'll work in a complex organisation which is at the forefront of the government's response to events which threaten the United Kingdom's security and prosperity. If you're looking for your job, but bigger, this could be your next move.

As a trusted government partner we work on a huge range of projects, and help protect the UK's interests around the world. We design and construct secure government buildings. We help earthquake-proof embassies. We courier diplomatic packages across continents. We keep complex projects on track, and on budget. We store visa applications securely in the Cloud. And a whole lot more besides. It's important work, and you could take your career to new heights as you focus your talents on a wide range of exciting projects.

Help to improve the processes and systems that support our global mission

Are you an inspirational communicator with a commitment to finding out what organisations hope to achieve? Can you influence and persuade stakeholders on the benefits of new tech and strategies? Do you enjoy running workshops that gather data, explore solutions and outline benefits? If this sounds like you then we want to meet, because as a Business Analyst you'll be doing all these things and more as you help us improve our processes and systems.

Identifying and analysing the best options to make a positive impact on the way we do things, and developing the specifications we need to achieve our strategic objectives, you'll provide expertise and quality assurance for all aspects of design, documentation, processes and products. But your work won't stop here - additional tasks will include the investigation and resolution of issues that might effect business continuity, and research into re-sale opportunities or extensions that would benefit our business.

Use your communication skills to deliver results that make a real difference

With an ISEB Diploma in Business Systems Analysis/Design or an equivalent qualification, and knowledge of the project lifecycle, web and security standards and best-practice QA techniques, you'll have the communication skills needed to obtain requirements and develop specifications. Experienced in the creation of clearly specified documentation, and ready to use your customer service skills to resolve any issues that arise, you'll be capable of analysing, interrogating and evaluating data, and drafting, writing and interpreting professional and technical documents.

A highly skilled manager of stakeholders, and with a good understanding of Agile and Lean methodologies, you'll have a strong user focus and the ability to bridge the technical and non-technical. A natural problem solver with superb time and risk management skills, you'll be an inspirational team worker and capable of working with people at all levels of our business. It's also vital that you have well developed organisational skills and the ability to prioritise against deadlines across multiple projects and services.

Grow your career in the biggest way possible

When you join us, you'll be contributing to protecting the nation's interests at home and overseas. How will we help you in return? We offer a competitive salary, 25-30 days' annual leave per year (depending on length of service) and a Civil Service pension. Depending on business need, we can accommodate some hybrid working between the office and home. While on-site, you'll have access to an on-site gym, nursery, canteen, and we offer interest-free loans on season tickets and bikes to help you get there. Above all else, we can offer your job, bigger. As one of our Business Analysts you'll be using all your skills with an organisation that protects people, information and assets around the world. Using your skills in a way that just means more.

All our employees have to be security cleared before joining us, so you will need to undergo a vetting process if you're successful in your application. This role would require you to undergo Security Check (SC) clearance.

Or you can start your application today by clicking the APPLY button.

Closing date for applications is: 14th May 2023
