IC Resources is working with a client based in London who are seeking a configuration engineer to join their team on a contract basis as soon as possible.Contract until September Onsite 3-4 days per weekResponsibilites
• Manage and enhance the use of the company Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tool
• Support the roll out of new features and ensure training and onboarding to the PLM tool for new employees
• Oversee release of all engineering and manufacturing documentation ensuring correct classification, format and allocation of number.
• Compile Manufacturing Data Packs in support the Procurement Team
• Facilitate the Engineering Change Orders (ECO) process.
• Support part number, serial number, document number creation
• Ensure the technical accuracy of product bill of materials (BOM) and advise of the Engineering team on configuration issues
