The purpose of the role is to develop the ongoing delivery of infrastructure projects to ensure the rolling development of the infrastructure estate against the IT roadmap. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include the creation of proposals and business cases; the development and delivery of a rolling programme of technical projects; ownership of PID and project plan production; capacity planning and resource modelling; service delivery and third-party supplier management; project plan management; budget management and resource utilization; and managing end-to-end project delivery.

Must Have

Demonstrable commercial experience of Infrastructure Project Management.

An extensive knowledge of IaaS, SaaS and cloud computing in general (Cloud Migrations, Cloud Services (Azure), Networks, Telephony, Application upgrades).

Experience of managing cloud-based vendors, data centre and telecoms providers.

Excellent contract, matrix, and line management skills.

Excellent project control experience

PRINCE2 Practitioner or other relevant professional qualifications in Project Management, such as PMP, APM, or similar.

Nice to Have

Experience of cloud adoption projects.

Proficient in use of delivery and collaboration tools (DevOps, JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, MS Teams, Skype)

ERP project experience; Dynamics 365, Oracle Cloud or similar.

ITIL experience/certification.

As an individual you will have experience in both matrix management and line management of cross functional teams with effective and strong leaderships and interpersonal skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills both verbally and written. A proven track record of managing both large and complex budgets alongside in-depth knowledge of Microsoft office.
