Oracle Cloud Product Manager Salary & Benefits: £57,078 - £63,420 (depending on experience) Location: Manchester (We're flexible on location and can also consider candidates based out of Bristol, Manchester, Leeds, London, Halifax & Edinburgh)

Where does this role sit

Cloud Services support the delivery and ongoing support for a diverse variety of Private Cloud Platforms which form part of the bank's strategy to modernise and digitise its footprint on our journey to help Britain recover.

Core Accountabilities

Working on all aspects of the lifecycle for the Oracle Cloud platforms and the consumable products. You'll detail and drive a prioritised backlog of activity in support and product lifecycle, You'll understand, develop and optimise the contractual and commercial requirements. Develop and document, with appropriate collaborators, the strategic intent, roadmaps and business plan for the platform. You'll lead the currency of the platform and products driving a currency plan which includes exposure mitigation and decommissioning opportunities. You'll also help to identify and handle risks within your area of responsibility in adherence to the group's policies and standards, And assist the lead in understanding contractual obligations to track, challenge and improve measures.

Transform and Promote our offerings is a core element of the role, implementing 'Get to Green' plans to ensure our service is the highest quality.

 

You'll

Translate business partner needs into technical requirements ensuring that engineering teams understand exactly what is to be delivered and lead these requirements.

Identify platform and product evolution opportunities in response to known customer demand, existing deficiencies, supplier enhancements and wider industry developments; developing the case where required

Enhance customer advocacy by promoting products, acting as a focal point for customer feedback and driving retention through proactive engagement initiatives.

Providing recommendations on optimisation across all services, delivering the best value to LBG at all times.

Provide support to the Cloud Technology Services Leadership Team showing flexibility to be able to adjust to, and work towards, Business priorities

 

What will I need to have to be considered....

A desire to develop a tried understanding of our Infrastructure and Oracle Databases in order to be an advocate of our offerings.

Experience of working as a Product Manager or Product Owner, defining and prioritising product backlogs and seeing work through to delivery.

You'll tackle problems with strong influencing skills including an innovative approach, creating solutions to problems that arise unexpectedly.

A pro-active demeanour with the ability to work by yourself

Ability to lead multiple projects and work with several collaborators at once.

 

Nice to haves...

Experience working on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and/or Exadata Cloud At Customer Infrastructure

Previous experience working with Oracle databases
