To support us on this journey, we are seeking an ambitious, experienced and skilled product owner, to define, deliver and manage data collection products as part of our transformation.The newly formed Value Chain Data & Digital Solutions team is a vibrant, creative and forward-thinking team, responsible for delivering world-class digital products and solutions which will enable us to further understand, optimise and strengthen our complex global value chains as part of our value chain strategy transformation.In this role, you’ll collaborate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to define and deliver the digital products that will underpin this transformation and will ultimately be accountable for the delivery and management of assigned digital product portfolio.In this position, you will be expected to effectively manage all stakeholders to maintain, evolve and align the assigned product vision and data architecture into a single product roadmap as well as setting Product OKRs and connecting the product roadmap to incremental product development and value realisation. This position also requires you to act as primary interface between software provider(s) and product stakeholders including Value Chain Leadership, Supply Chain, Procurement, Production, Digital and Engineering.Other duties in this role include, but are not limited to:Consult with and resolve uncertainty on varied customer use cases and required solution outcomes.Monitor, with support of the software provider, key product performance indicators (KPIs), as well as release-specific success metrics.WHAT YOU’LL NEEDTo be successful in this role, you will need to be comfortable at communicating to business stakeholders on progress and benefit realisation, competent and experienced at managing scope and business-related risks, issues and mitigations and will need to be able to develop robust business cases and user stories for new products and features. You will be required to engage with the wider Jaguar Land Rover digital ecosystem to optimise objectives, performance and value realisation and provide guidance and oversight in planning, organising and coordinating value chain digital initiatives.A key aspect of this position will require you to partner with business enablement functions to ensure best experience to customers when using delivered products and features and to take responsibility for data driven decision making based on platform usage data to feed new product features and /or product enhancements.Knowledge, Skills and ExperienceEssential:Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.A determination for finding solutions to problems, with a curiosity for creativity.An independent, enthusiastic and driven individual with a growth mindset.A strong communicator and team player, able to challenge existing thinking in a positive way whilst building credibility and trust through experience and personal style.Ability to present content in a meaningful, clear and concise way.Ability to work between technical and non-technical teams, adapting communicative method where required and ability to see the "bigger picture."Desirable:Product management / product ownership experience.Experience working within Supply Chain/Procurement.Bachelor level degree or equivalent in Software Engineering, Information Technology or similar discipline.Competent with SQL and experience of modern data-oriented architectures & databases.Experienced with agile Frameworks - (SCRUM, Kanban, or SAFE) and Agile planning tools such as Jira and Confluence.Agile practitioner certification an advantage (PO, SM, DevOps etc.).
