Utilising modern cloud data platforms enables them to combine data from multiple separate business systems into a single, unified view. They help clients extract their data, load it to the cloud and transform it into valuable business insights thus allowing our clients to make more effective, strategic business decisions The Role This is a remote/WFH role or depending on your location, could be hybrid - utilising offices in central BristolAs an experienced data engineer, you will use your proven experience with ETL tools, SQL code, data modelling and cloud data platforms to further explore a range of analytics technologies including ETL, modern cloud data platforms, BI and ML/AI tools. Building data pipelines using tools like Matillion, dbt and Snow pipe.Working with cloud data platforms including Snowflake, Google Big Query or Amazon RedshiftDeveloping demo content and proof of concepts (PoCs) to be used as part of engagements with clients based on briefs given by the Delivery LeadWorking closely with clients to understand and capture business requirementsUnderstanding and working comfortably with various data models including Kimball and Data Vault What you will also have3 or more years of experience with ETL Tools (SAP, Talend or Matillion) and cloud data platforms (ideally Redshift, BigQuery or Snowflake)RegardsOlie
