Senior Android Developer / Tech Lead London to £90kAre you a skilled Android Developer with technical leadership skills?You could be joining a pioneering digital challenger bank with over 1.6 million users, an ethically managed and innovative company with excellent training, career development opportunities and benefits.Your role:As a Senior Android Developer / Tech Lead you will manage the multi-disciplined (Android / iOS) Mobile Development team, taking ownership of all technical deliverables, ensuring the team understand the goal on and are on track to meet agreed Sprint cycles and overseeing code reviews. You'll be hands-on most of the time, designing and developing highly complex, resilient, scalable and secure mobile banking apps; working with outside data resources and APIs.Technology is at the core of this business, you'll be empowered to evaluate and implement new and emerging technologies, contributing to architecture, design and technology choices, supported by the Head of Development.WFH Policy:There's flexibility to work from home most of the time, joining colleagues in the London office around twice a month.Requirements:You have expertise with Mobile Development, with hands-on Android skills and a good understanding of iOSYou have experience of leading cross functional Mobile Development teamsYou have experience of designing and developing secure / encrypted enterprise scale apps, ideally within a regulated environmentYou have strong Android, Kotlin and Coroutines experience, the team are also using Android Jetpack and Android UI, Google Play Services, Koin for dependency injection, Mokito and AssertJ for testingYou have excellent communication and leadership skills; you're able to mentor and develop others and manage senior stakeholdersWhat's in it for you:As a Senior Android Developer / Tech Lead you will earn a competitive salary (to £90k).
