Release Manager - Loans lab - Consumer Finance Platform Location: London based with flexibility to work from home 2-3 days per week Salary & Benefits: £57,048.00 - £71,310.00 GBP base salary, plus annual personal bonus, 15% employer pension contribution (when you put in 6%), 4% flexible cash pot, private medical insurance, 30 days holiday plus bank holidays.We also offer flexible working hours, agile working practices and regular home working. About the role Release Managers initiate and handle all readiness activities for implementing changes into the digital multi-channel environment. This requires involvement in all stages of the software development lifecycle; from incubation through to deployment. They setup and lead engagement with all teams/platforms external to the lab (e.g. OCIS, CBS, ASM) in order to facilitate the end to end delivery of feature team initiatives. They own execution of all route to live activities; creating and being accountable of the initiative delivery plan, applying multiple lenses to change delivery i.e. customer, service, performance, operations perspectives What will you be doing ...Contributing to technical design discussions to ensure the design is achievable within the timescales, and that the delivery mechanism protects live serviceEnsuring the service, performance and security impact of all feature team initiatives is understood and handled appropriatelyEngaging and coordinating resources from external teams to deliver team initiative timelinesSetting up and managing appropriate change governanceIdentifying and managing all delivery risks, issues and dependencies associated with feature team deliverablesAssisting with the removal of feature team delivery blockersSupporting delivering within initiative budgetIdentifying and taking ownership of process improvements to simplify change deliveryRaising risks and issues in a timely manner, feeding into senior management as requiredAn active member of the Release Manager community to obtain & share best practice to help improve efficiency What we need from you:Knowledge & Understanding of Agile delivery methodology and change delivery lifecyclesDesirable to have an understanding of the LBG route to live processes and governance in order to effectively deliver change to the end userExcellent planning ability and organisational awarenessHighly Proactive with ability to self-organiseAbility to effectively communicate & influence across a wide range of stakeholders (both technical and business)Ability to work effectively as part of a multi skilled Team, contributing to ways of working improvements More than anything you'll bring passion, can do attitude and an open mind to help us develop new ways of doing things, whilst developing your own skills and experience.
