Role: Payroll & Pensions Manager
Location: Central Manchester - 1 day a week on site
Duration: 10 Months starting Mid February
Rate: £230-£246pd Inside IR35
LA International are working with a nationwide NHS organisation to recruit for an experienced Payroll & Pensions Manager. They role is based from their central Manchester office and will require you to be on site at least once a week.
The main purpose of this role is to provide a proactive and responsive payroll function by successful management of the payroll and expenses contracts. You will be expected to ensure that the business meets their in respect contracts and deal with contract issues where necessary. You will act as a point of expertise for specialist payroll, pension and expenses advice, for employees and managers and be the main point of contact for the outsourced providers.
The role requires compiling the relevant payroll and pension sections of the Annual Report and Accounts and pay gap reporting and supporting senior colleagues in submitting statutory returns to external bodies, ensuring they compliant with all relevant legislation and NHS specific guidance.
To be considered you will have....
* CIPP Foundation degree in Pensions Administration and Management or Payroll Management or
equivalent experience.
* Expert knowledge of legislative requirements relating to payroll, pensions and expenses.
* Experience of the NHS Electronic Staff Records system.
* Experience of system produced payroll and pensions procedures.
* Working knowledge of Oracle based databases.
