You will improve existing software and create new tools to more efficiently extract and understand results from wind tunnel, track and CFD.

Assisting the engineers by developing capabilities to compare aerodynamic data across these domains in an intuitive and seamless manner Must:

Take ownership of projects and develop them from concept to production

Maintain existing software

Keep up to date with modern software development technologies and practices

Encourage development best practices amongst other engineers General understanding of the software lifecycle Able to develop all aspects of software from concept to distribution

You must be prepared to learn any part of the software development lifecycle.

This may include programming, unit testing, concurrency, packaging, computational complexity, and CI/CD.

You must be prepared to work with the following technology stacks:

Desktop applications: Python, Qt (PyQt/PySide), VTK, .NET

Full stack (frontend): TypeScript, React, Chakra UI, Jest

Full stack (backend): Python, APIs (REST, gRPC, GraphQL), databases (MS SQL Server, MongoDB), .NET

DevOps: GitLab, continuous integration & delivery, Docker & Kubernetes Or any other technology that will provide a demonstrable advantage.

You will demonstrate technical competence as well as a collaborative, creative and proactive approach to work. The right attitude and drive to succeed is vital to our success.

You will be organised, methodical and demonstrate the ability to communicate complex ideas with clarity and articulate challenging concepts in understandable terms.

You will be expected to think creatively and demonstrate the ability to deliver high-quality results, under pressure and within tight timescales.

You may be assigned to projects in other departments depending on your skillset and interests.
