Functional Programmer100% Remote working (UK or Portugal)

£70,000-£90,000 (DOE) + Stock Options + Private Healthcare + Progression + Holidays

This company have recently gone into banking! They were founded by FinTech Entrepreneurs who wanted to create a platform that would've been the perfect partner to help them grow and scale their previous businesses. They have recently become FCA approved to be able to offer loans and payment solutions to their clients on top of their previous impressive list of products and services.

In this role you will join a team of Developers working on one of the core pillars which will handle core banking, compliance, accounts, and transactions autonomously. You'll work on creating highly scalable new platforms and scaling existing platforms to be able to handle tens of thousands customer requests autonomously, accurately, and successfully. You can work from the London office whenever you like, but if you'd be more comfortable working from home full-time then that's not an issue either.

The ideal candidate will be familiar with Clojure and one other functional programming language like Scala, Python, JavaScript etc. Candidates will be strong communicators and hold full right to work.

*Office is in London if you'd like to go in, but working fully remotely is happily accepted

The Person:

*Good Clojure skills

*Experience with another functional programming language

*Strong communicator

*Holds full right to work
