Senior Security Engineer (Cloud) Lloyds Banking Group Edinburgh, Leeds, London, Halifax, Bristol, Manchester - We're happy with home working the majority of the time, however you'll need to be in office 2 days per week under your own cost. Salary & Benefits: The base salary banding for this role is £61,176 - £84,117 in London and £52,912 to £72,754 outside of London plus annual personal bonus, 15% employer pension contribution, 4% flexible cash pot, private medical insurance, 30 days holiday plus bank holidays. Our Cloud Services department is looking for a motivated individual to ensure that the appropriate security controls are in place, focusing on keeping bank services safe while simultaneously supporting programme timescales and business outcomes. You'll be responsible for security requirements, designs, risks and defining controls to mitigate these risks and guiding other areas of technical programmes to embed security in the best manner for the Bank. Security is at the heart of everything we do at LBG, and our Engineers contribute to building a secure culture. It'll feature as a key part of your role - having a secure mindset to provide strong and resilient business solutions that safeguard our business and customers from security threats. Specific activities which you'll be responsible for include things like;Working with architects, product owners and engineers to collaboratively define the mid and low-level security requirements into a collection of design and engineering activities to ensure we are delivering against agreed security standards and principlesCurating new cloud products ready to be utilised across the LBG estateDelivering platform maturity through the development and enhancement of products and delivery of new security custom guardrailsProactively identifying and managing security risks not exclusively as part of the design/engineering processOwning the end-to-end security view for specific platform components, shared services, or application integration itemsPerforming threat modelling against architectures, engineered solutions, and as-is platforms What do we need to see from applicants?Practical experience as a Security EngineerPublic cloud experience including AWS and/or GCP, AzureThreat modelling experience both platform and application/product levelAbility to detect and raise appropriate security, technical and business risksAbility to draft and review designs reconciling back to the LBG Security and Industry StandardsTake ownership of security from end-to-end to drive the best outcomesPrioritise your work, considering the balance of all outcomes not only the Security outcomesFocus on collaboration, thinking creatively and working with other teamsFocus on communication with stakeholders in a way that ensures understanding by the recipient What can I expect in Return?We're dedicated to giving you opportunities and support to develop you both professionally and personally to optimise your potential!
