Trade Desk Analyst / Quantitative Analyst (PhD MSc) *Hybrid WFH* to £70kWould you like to establish / advance your career, work with and learn from a hugely talented team and progress to a Trader position?You could be joining a specialist Hedge Fund with £1 billion in assets.Your role:As a Trade Desk Analyst you'll work directly with a small group of front office traders that are well respected within the industry to manage the quality of data and perform analysis and R&D on trading strategy to forecast elements of demand and supply of energy for European markets looking at weather inputs, demand models, real-time data and will perform data intensive modelling.There's excellent career progression, this role will enable you to become a Trader.WFH Policy:Following a remote interview / onboarding process you'll join colleagues in the North London office two days a week, with the other three work from home; you'll be working with a small group of accomplished software / data engineers and finance entrepreneurs.Requirements:You have a record of academic achievement, likely to have studied to MSc or PhD level - Maths, Physics, Economics or Finance preferred from a top tier universityYou have some commercial experience in similar roleYou have a keen interest in TradingYou have a strong knowledge of data analysisYou have programming experience with R, advanced Excel and statistical techniquesPython and SQL experience would be an advantageYou're a confident communicator with excellent communication skillsSalary & benefits:As a Trade Desk Analyst / Quantitative Analyst you will earn a competitive salary (to £70k) plus significant bonus earning potential and benefits package including pension and healthcare.Apply now to find out more about this Trade Desk Analyst / Quantitative Analyst opportunity.
