A Software Development Engineer is sought by this expanding power electronics organisation to be based at their R+D Centre near Zurich. The Software Development Engineer will be responsible for developing embedded software in C and C++ for marine based power electronic applications including inverters, power supplies and motor controllers. Working at microprocessor / controller level the Software Development Engineer will be developing next generation marine power electronic systems. You will be an experienced Embedded Software Engineer with strong C and C++ skills. Your background will include developing software and firmware at bare-metal / hardware interface preferably for power control and power electronics applications. Any experience with a Matlab code generator would be beneficial as would any exposure to developing software for motor controllers and inverters. Candidates need excellent English language skills and any capability in German would be a bonus. Candidates need to be living in, and fully authorised to work in, the EU.
