QA Test Engineer (Linux BashTesting) *Hybrid / London* to £49k

Global provider of data protection solutions is seeking a bright QA Test Engineer to join a new Agile team working on an Ubuntu based Linux OS. You will be responsible for providing high quality testing services to the engineering team, using manual methods. A typical day for you will include, working with developers, other testers, and product experts to do effective and efficient tests, carrying out scripted and exploratory testing, and participating in sprint planning and other project group activities.

You'll be based in London offices but will have flexibility to work remotely 3 days a week. 

Requirements:

You have previous testing experience using manual methods

You have had exposure to Linux and are comfortable with Linux command line scripts

You can script using Bash and ideally Python

You have experience with API testing

You have experience implementing testing strategies and practises

You are a quick learner and can pick up new tools and technologies easily

You have excellent communication and collaboration skills
