Functional Analyst Oracle HR & CRM (remote/occasional travel)

The purpose of this role is to be the subject matter expert on the Functional HR & CRM team, predominantly in the CRM area, primarily to support the demands of the current Change Programme but also to support the day to day maintenance of the JPA application as required. With three major releases each year, this role is both demanding and challenging and requires someone that can handle multiple strands of work in a fast paced and ever changing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Carry out detailed business analysis and requirements gathering for medium to large projects of work, and liaise closely with the Customer in order to refine requirements

* Produce and/or update detailed design specifications in accordance with Account procedures.

* Provide estimates in accordance with Account procedures.

* Construct/modify the configuration of core and custom Oracle modules in accordance with detailed design specifications

* Produce test specifications to demonstrate that reconfigured elements meet requirements.

* Execute unit testing and document outcomes in accordance with quality procedures

* Provide support to the full life cycle of each (i.e. system testing, UAT and implementation)

* Provide regular progress reports to line management in accordance with agreed procedures

* Support maintenance of the JPA application when required, investigating reported errors, identifying the cause and seeing through to resolution.

Essential Skills:

* Knowledge of Oracle eBusiness Suite 12.1

* Proven experience of implementing Oracle projects (full project lifecycle)

* High-level understanding of HR - Oracle eBusiness Suite 12.

* Able to plan and organize the work for themselves and others to ensure the achievement of targets and outcomes

* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to confidently engage with others

* Strong written and verbal skills

* Possess good creative skills and make suggestions for improvement

* Must be able to work under pressure and to constantly changing deadlines

* Must be pro-active and self-motivated

* SC, or SC clearable

* UK Nationality or meets Civil Service Nationality rules

Desirable Skills:

* Knowledge of some Military business processes or experience of working in Government Sectors (preferably Defence)

* Knowledge of Oracle HR or CRM principles and their touch points within HRMS

* Knowledge of Serena Dimensions
