Java Fullstack (React, Angular, Javascript) Sales Tools Developer - Investment Banking

We are looking for a Java Fullstack developer -React, Angular, Javascript, Typescript - for our clients Regulatory Sales Tools development team, responsible for the design and development of a number of applications that are integral to the sales desktop. An experienced Java React Javascript Angular Developer with proven experience in software engineering and Real Time application software development across the full stack. The candidate should have excellent skills in system architecture/design, development of Back End services, APIs and GUI's as well as a good knowledge of the investment banking business.

Experience

At least 8 years software development experience ideally with a recent focus on delivering web based applications

Solid experience with serverside Java 8+

Experience of React, Angular, Typescript, Javascript

Experience designing and implementing RESTful web APIs services using Java (Spring, Spring Boot); designing data stores using both SQL technologies - MS SQL, Oracle or Redis.

Experience with TeamCity, Jenkins/Ansible

Understanding of performance implications when making design decisions to deliver performant and maintainable software.

Solid experience with multi-threaded architectures and optimised UIs

Experience with common .NET patterns and libraries (ie MVVM, Rx, NUnit), JavaScript, ES6+, CSS, HTML and DOM

Experience with desktop based deployments of web based UIs

Key Responsibilities

Lead the definition of the architecture and design within the team, taking informed decisions on technology and tools whilst following the appropriate standards

Participate in an agile based software development life-cycle including technical analysis, documentation, development, testing and code reviews.

Collaborate with the production support team for release and maintenance of the components.

Work closely with the other developers in determining and following best development and architecture practice.

Fully participate in requirement and design meetings for new functionality.

Develop and manage a relationship with the production support teams and coordinate on troubleshooting and infrastructure issues.

Inside IR35 ; 50% Remote; 50% WFO
