SENIOR .NET DEVELOPER - Outside IR35
Location: 50% Working from Home / 50% Fenchurch Street, London office.
Day Rate (Contract): £600-£700 p/day Outside IR35


Asset Management or other financial services experience required.

I am currently working with a leading London based, Asset Manager that are looking for a .Net Developer to join our London-based development team, who is passionate about creating an amazing end user experience for the companys needs and the clients.

This is an exciting opportunity to join as this client continue their growth and will enable them to keep up with the demand for innovative technical solutions to meet the needs of the growing business.

You will work in one of several development teams using Agile methods and the latest .NET technology. You will work closely with the business and be involved in all aspects of the systems development life cycle (SDLC) across different business areas.

The Role:

As a Senior Developer, beyond your day to day development work you will:

* Provide technical advice to other developers and take an active role in designing new technical standards.
* Take ownership for driving change and innovation, bring relevant teams together and lead retrospectives.
* Assess and recommend architectural patterns based on functional and non-functional requirements.
* Present information concisely to individuals within and outside of the Technology function.
* Mentor the wider team to support the Team lead and help optimise team performance.

Participate in and, where appropriate, lead meetings with business stakeholders.

The Skills required:

* C# / .NET Framework / ASP.NET Core / SQL.
* Experience working in Agile teams performing iterative development.
* Fundamentals and approaches: OOP, SOLID principles, TDD/BDD/ATDD.
* DVCS with Git or Mercurial.
* Experience with CI/CD pipelines (TeamCity / Artifactory).
* Ability to collaborate with end users, stakeholders, and team members.
* Programming as part of a team and performing peer code reviews.
* Demonstrate initiative and independence to solve problems.
* Stand by software engineering principles around quality and doing things the right way.
