IT Support Specialist (2nd / 3rd line)

South East London

£37,000 -£45,000 + Learning and Development budget + Pension scheme + 26 days holiday

Excellent opportunity for IT Support Engineer looking to progress their career and lean new technical skills in a well-established and AI driven vehicle safety specialist.

This company are experts in the installation of electrical systems and specialist technologies for a range of clients within the automotive industry, they have recently won new projects across Europe and are consistently growing into new industries. Due to this continual success they are looking to expand their Infrastructure support team.

In this role you will provide a professional level of support to maintain client systems ensuring their functionality and security. You will ensure tickets are responded to in a timely manner and provide a regular service summary for service availability, incidents and changes.

The ideal candidate will have experience provide 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support and have a good knowledge of Infrastructure and networking. You will be confident with troubleshooting LAN/WAN, Firewalls, Windows & Linux Servers.

The Role:

*Working closely with the internal team to deal with technical queries

*1st, 2nd and 3rd line support

*Supporting systems that use multiple levels of security and classifications

*Hours 08.30 to 1700 Monday to Friday (you will be office based in Greenwich for your probation and can work remotely after)

*25 days leave (including Christmas shutdown), plus a day off for your birthday, with annual leave increasing to 28 days with service

The Person:

*Experience supporting LAN/WAN, Firewalls and Windows Servers

*Familiarity with Windows and Linux

*Familiar with Physical Interfaces such Ethernet/ Serial/ Wireless

*Any experience with Cloud Platforms (AWS/Azure) is desirable

*Experience with Remote access

*Basic understanding of any scripting language would be highly beneficial but is not required
