We're building the bank of the future, and we need your help.Where will this role sit?The Natural Language Engineering role sits within the Intelligent Automation (IA) team. IA are at the forefront of our ambition to use exciting new technology to enable the Bank to deliver the right customer experiences and help Britain prosper. To do this we're working with ground-breaking technologies at scale to harness our data. We want to use 'intelligence' derived from Natural Language Processing and Understanding to drive automated solutions that fulfil customer need.As the Lead Product Owner you'll work closely with your Engineering Lead counterpart to shape and lead the lab. Day to day activity is structured through Agile, so you'll own the production of the vision, roadmap and the prioritised backlog of work for the teams. You'll also be accountable for winning income, handling expenditure, delivery commitments and the team's risk profile.As the person responsible for successful delivery of the right product or service, we'd like you to be as passionate about our product as us! You'll ensure our propositions are grounded in what's technically feasible.Naturally we also expect the Lead NLE PO to create a collaborative working environment that empowers the team and keeps the creative juices flowing. We're looking for a versatile individual to cover all of this and help us realise the potential of our Data Science and Engineering team. We need you to help us harness the Bank's unstructured data to build and deploy the data products and models which will help us understand our customers better.What will I do?Lead a multi-disciplinary team who are developing, deploying, and running Natural Language and Unstructured Data based capabilities across the whole of Lloyds Banking Group.Develop and realise the strategy for unstructured data exploitation within LBG, including how this fits within our conversational banking strategy.Understand the problems that the business are trying to solve . Then design and deliver end-to-end solutions to these, utilising our NLE capabilities.Work with a range of senior stakeholders, obtaining their agreement and ensuring their satisfaction is key.Establish, maintain and influence a wide range of relationships with partners and software vendors.Ensure maintenance of the live service. Running, maintaining, and evolving the platforms that these solutions are hosted on and achieving demanding availability targets.Manage the teams risk profile inline with governance processes and appetite.What we would like you to bring to the team:Essential skills & experience Experience in strategic and large transformations to deliver impact and drive value.Experience of Senior Product OwnershipDemonstrable backgroung of Agile delivery.Knowledge of NLU and scaled automation systems.Knowledge, understanding and experience of leadership and pastoral case of large teams (circa 30 strong).Experience of running end to end of a software & infrastructure production service.
