Backend Developer / Engineer (Java Kotlin AWS) *UK Remote WFH* to £75k
Are you a technologist with strong backend Java skills seeking an opportunity to work with Kotlin and a modern tech stack, continually learning and progressing your career?
You could be joining a pioneering search technology tech company, in a supportive environment with individual training allowance / plan and 10% personal development time.
As a Backend Developer you will build features for a new client facing platform; optimising workflows and enhancing the intelligence and capabilities of the system with exposure to the full development lifecycle, seeing the impact of your work immediately.
You'll work with a variety of languages and technologies, with a focus on Kotlin and AWS and will be able to impact choices, there's a lot of new Greenfield development projects as well as optimisation and scalability work and you'll also gain exposure to the React front end.
WFH Policy:
There's a remote interview / onboarding process and 100% remote working / work from home in the UK; or you can pop into the London fairly regularly or work there full-time depending on your preference.
Requirements:
You have strong backend software engineering experience with Java and are happy to use Kotlin moving forward
You have a good knowledge of AWS
You have a collaborative nature, keen to learn and share knowledge with others
You're degree educated, Computer Science, Mathematics (or similar numerate discipline)
Ideally you'll have some experience with React / JavaScript and be open to full stack development
