WHAT TO EXPECT

This role will be a part of the team of planning analyst which will allow Jaguar Land Rover to meet future sales volumes and customer delivery expectations. The role will require reliable and repeatable processes and these are needed to generate plans of up to 24-month horizon which project the requirements at a part number level and support the process of optimising the supply of critical parts.

Given the unprecedented level of disruption to global supply chains, it is critical that we plan to a longer range horizon with the highest level of precision achievable to provide a more stable supply chain.

Our Connected Supply Chainmodel continues to evolve towards a more streamlined approach relying on shared information with suppliers and manufacturing in order to respond as one network.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
Responsible for transacting the Sales & Operational Execution (S&OE) and Sales & Operational Planning (S&OP) decisions within the live end-to-end Enterprise application landscape
Generating planning schedules (frequently referred to as EDI) for suppliers
Measure, report out, identify & drive all steps / teams across the Enterprise to continuously improve the quality & precision of the part level demand signals
Analyse errors / latencies / missing information and work with all Enterprise teams to identify & apply short-term responses whilst coordinating longer term permanent fixes, including the relevant Business Process & Capability owners
Develop and monitor a suite of digital KPI's, supported by the Digital team, to measure the quality & precision of the part level demand signal(s) forming the planning schedules issued to our suppliers
Work with the relevant Business Process & Capability owners to ensure all demand signal generation processes are effective and efficient and delivering a high quality & precise planning schedule for our suppliers
Support the development of the relevant business controls to ensure compliant and ‘in control' business processes
Contribute to all documentation (BPD's, BRD's, use cases, etc) which support the design / improvement of current & future processes


WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Essential:
Working experience in an operational / manufacturing business
Understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes and their functioning in day-to-day operations
Analytical skills; data mindset

Desirable:
Working knowledge of material requirements planning (MRP)
Degree-level qualification or equivalent in a relevant discipline
Knowledge of PLO, Asterisk, E2Open, Anaplan, eCARS, CMMS3, SAP, Bill of Material / Product Information applications orTableau
