Senior Contracts and Commercial ManagerLloyds Banking Group Leeds, Edinburgh, London, Halifax, Bristol, Manchester - We're happy with home working the majority of the time, however you'll need to be in office 1 or 2 days per week under your own cost. Salary & Benefits: The base salary banding for this role is £76,440 - £105,105 in London and £65,288 - £89,711 outside of London plus annual personal bonus, 15% employer pension contribution, 4% flexible cash pot, private medical insurance, 30 days holiday plus bank holidays. Who are Lloyds Banking Group and where does this role sit?As part of Group CIO, Cloud Services is the primary agent for creating and then running a future Cloud capability and the associated eco-system of future service partners to enable the bank of the future. Within Cloud Services, the Contracts and Commercial Team are committed to excellence, providing central independent supplier assurance and informed analysis, ensuring service quality, positively influencing the commercial landscape. The Senior Contracts & Commercial Manager has operational responsibility for one or more contract agreements and monitors the associated supplier deliverables and commitments. They manage the end-to-end lifecycle process of the agreement(s), from development through to execution and termination. They coordinate Contract change control (incl. evaluation, negotiations, contract-management approval, physical update of contract, etc.) and internal and external communication regarding the agreement and the supplier relationship. They form the initial interface between defined client functions and the supplier, ensuring input (e.g. business and compliance requirements) and participation in decision making such as review and approval of deliverables or mitigating actions. This role may be worked as a job share therefore you are welcome to apply as an individual reduced hours applicant, or alongside another candidate. Specific activities which you'll be responsible for include things like;Provide Subject Matter Expert support to the Group on the obligations and expectations within Cloud contracts.Accountable for Deliverables and Obligations tracking for their contract(s), setting expectations and deliverables to ensure compliance on an ongoing basis.Leading the Commercial relationship with our Suppliers, ensuring the management and resolution of contractual issues to minimise the impact of service disruptions and delivery delays.An ability to quickly grasp and dissect complex issues, in order to accurately advise teams on how to proceed.Raising and managing Contractual Change Notifications, negotiating changes to the contract to remain in compliance with the remainder of the agreement.Provide strong leadership, line management and operational oversight to the Contracts & Commercial team.Ownership of the Governance Framework for the contract(s), making considered changes to keep up with an ever-changing landscape Skills we need to see from applicants?A strong background in contract management with an understanding of contract structures and terms (Cloud experience is preferred but not essential)Ability to communicate and influence with partners at all levels within the organisationResilience when faced with conflicting priorities and commercial disputesExperience in multi-vendor service provisionProven experience making material commercial decisions What can I expect in Return?We're dedicated to giving you opportunities and support to develop you both professionally and personally to optimise your potential!
