On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a Python Developer for a 6 Month contract based in Manchester (1 day a week).Purpose of the Role:We are looking for a Python Developer to join and work closely with our Quant team and help us develop and maintain various software products.As a Python Developer you will be responsible for:Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Python code.Rapidly prototyping solutions to quickly prove/disprove new concepts.Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability applications.Deal processing and integration into the system.Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications.Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.What we require from the candidate:Strong Python abilityExperience working within a Quant environment.Experience working with cloud-based containerisation solutions ideally AWS and Docker.Ability to express opinion on sound RESTful API design.Next stepsThis client will only accept workers operating via an Umbrella or PAYE engagement model.If you are interested in applying for this position and meet the criteria outlined above, please click the link to apply and we will contact you with an update in due course.AMS, a Recruitment Process Outsourcing Company, may in the delivery of some of its services be deemed to operate as an Employment Agency or an Employment Business
