If so, then please see below… Mechanical Design Manager Role Warrington £DoE Progressive Engineering and a Global Engineering Innovator in Nuclear Engineering are looking to recruit a Mechanical Design Manager for their Warrington Design Hub, owing to significant business growth and project pipeline for 2023-2024+. Based in Warrington and reporting into the Head of Engineering, the Mechanical Design Manager will be responsible for managing teams of up to 10 Mechanical Design Engineers, delivering complex design packages for demanding applications, on-time, to budget and specification. Qualification & Experience Required for Mechanical Design Manager role: Demonstrable prior experience as a Mechanical Design Manager or Principal Engineer and of delivering full-lifecycle design projects to time, spec and budgetPrior experience of leading and developing Engineering Teams as a Mechanical Design Manager or Principal EngineerDegree in Mechanical Engineering or similarPrior mechanical design experience within a regulated industry (such as Oil & Gas, Energy, Heavy Engineering, Pharmaceutical, Mining, Process Industry, Aerospace, etc).Conversant with 3D CAD Design software packages (including FEA Analysis Software)Experience of Concept Design through to Manufacturing Documentation Production, Verification via testing and installation design activities.Conversant with British and European Technical and Legislative standards For the successful Mechanical Design Manager, a competitive staff salary & package is on offer and this Mechanical Design Manager role is commutable from Warrington, Liverpool, Preston, Manchester, Salford, Crewe, Chester, Runcorn, Bolton, Wigan & St Helens.Please Note - This Mechanical Design Manager role is a Staff Position and my client does operate hybrid and flexible working for its Staff.
