Embedded Software Engineers are sought by this leading 4G / 5G mobile network systems developer to be based at their European R+D Centre in Duisburg. The Embedded Software Engineers will be contributing to the development of 5G software for 3GPP Release 16 5G gNB and UE systems spanning PHY to NAS for UE. Working with a team of dedicated Engineers the Embedded Software Engineers will also be involved in developing Protocol Stack software and working at SoC level. Having completed your MSc/MEng in Computer Science or equivalent you will have gained several years post graduate hands on real time embedded software development experience using C and C++. Your knowledge and skills will include 3GPP, PHY, 4G and / or 5G development with some exposure to developing software at microprocessor level. Any exposure to 3GPP rel 16 or 5G UE development would be beneficial. The successful candidate will find a flexible working environment, ensuring a healthy work/life balance.
