Backend Java Developer London to £80k

As a Backend Java Developer, you will design and develop real-time market data feeds and mathematically involved trading models, delivering the vital edge to traders around the world. You will work directly with traders in a Front Office environment carrying out trading activity on a day-to-day basis and will work closely and collaboratively with research and core development teams.

You will be based in fantastic, modern central London offices.

Requirements:

You are a talented Backend Java Developer with a desire to move into trading

You have strong Java and SQL skills (will consider other languages if you are happy to use Java going forward)

You have a mathematical and analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills

You have an excellent attitude, and show tonnes of enthusiasm and potential

You are likely to be degree educated, although this isn't essential

You have excellent communication and collaboration skills
