If the opportunity to apply your information governance and supplier assurance expertise to a unique restoration project in an amazing high profile environment sounds like a challenge you'd relish, join us as Information Security Assurance Manager and be part of our structure for success.

The Houses of Parliament Restoration and Renewal (R&R) Programme is set to be the UK's biggest and most complex ever renovation programme. Indeed, significant work is needed to protect and preserve this fascinating UNESCO World Heritage site and ensure it can continue to serve as the home of the UK Parliament in the 21st Century. Accordingly, we're looking for an accomplished information management professional to join us at an early stage and help shape the success of our data capability and data platforms. As the project progresses, you'll also get to co-create a data function and designing capability that will help us deliver these complex and high-profile works in a safe, data-driven and cost-effective manner. As Information Security Assurance Manager, you'll own our approach to assuring our suppliers creation and consumption of information across the Programme. But first, you'll need to get to know the business, understand its information governance needs and prioritising supplier assurance to reduce our risk profile. Ensuring that information exchange between the programme and our supply chain is seamless and secure and that our suppliers are able to abide by the necessary standards for information management will be key. We'll also rely on you to support other third-party relationships involving data exchange, such as major stakeholders. And, when it comes to helping to securely realise value from data by working with projects across the organisation, as well as our Cyber Security, Data and Information Management teams, again, we'll count on you to deliver. Working with data in restoration and construction means covering a wide range of data types and use cases. In addition to exposure to a variety of numeric data and documents, you'll have the opportunity to work with 3D models, imagery, point clouds and a wide range of archive data. You'll also collaborate with a range of stakeholders and colleagues as you help ensure data is responsibly managed across our organisation and supply chain and that colleagues feel empowered to make use of data and information to help the programme meet its strategic objectives. To succeed, you'll need proven experience of information management in a highly regulated or high public scrutiny environment, ideally in construction or civil engineering. You'll also need working knowledge of information security related policy, standards and methodologies and associated information security legislation and scheme standards, particularly the ISO27001 Framework. Used to working with 3rd party data sharing and RFIs, you're familiar with the relevant standards too, particularly UK GDPR, ISO9001 and ISO27001, as well as wider information security standards such as NIST. A demonstrable understanding of Information Governance roles is also required, as is experience collaborating with cyber security professionals, information managers, data architects, product owners, project managers, supplier representatives, commercial and procurement functions and business users. Adept at managing data artefacts, preferably using off-the-shelf data governance tools, you have a good understanding of data governance, information security, data integration, data quality, data contract and data management. What's more, you're self-motivated, a keen learner who likes to share their knowledge and great at communicating complex messages and provide constructive challenge. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer 30 days annual leave, a generous pension, discretionary bonus scheme, life assurance and payment of professional membership. We are committed to promoting diversity and to equal opportunities in employment. We are building diverse teams and seek to attract and retain talented individuals from a range of backgrounds and cultures to join us on this hugely challenging and important project. Please apply by submitting a CV and cover letter stating your current salary and benefits, your suitability for the role and if you believe you have any current or potential conflicts of interest relating to this. We look forward to receiving your completed application by 12 noon on 30th November 2022. Successful candidates will be required to complete security vetting to a CTC Security level obtained through the Parliamentary Security Department (PSD). Candidates are required to pass these checks before a start date can be confirmed. Applicants should also be aware that, depending on the role applied for, if they have resided outside of the UK for a total of more than two of the last five years, they may not be eligible for vetting
