Junior Solar Designer (Electrical)

Northampton (Remote Work Options)

£25,000 - £30,000 + Fully Remote Working + Training + Progression + Pension + Holidays

On offer is an excellent opportunity for a electrical engineering graduate to start their career in the exciting renewable energy sector.

This company has established its reputation within the commercial solar market, developing projects and dedicating its mission to provide excellent renewable technology solutions. They are continuing their rapid growth with expansion into ground mount solar, extending their capacity to install larger solar projects.

In this role you will be providing technical electrical designs for solar installations both roof top and ground mounted. You will have the opportunity to learn new design software and other renewable energy technology such as EV charging.

The ideal candidate is an electrical engineering graduate with a good understanding of CAD design. They are passionate about renewable energy and looking to develop their knowledge of new technology.

The role:

*Electrical designs of solar systems.

*Training on new software and technology as the industry develops.

*Attending site visits to understand requirements.

The person:

*Electrical engineering graduate.

*Good understanding of CAD programmes and preferably PVSol and PVSyst.

*Passionate about renewable energy.
